The Govan High development may have somethign to offer here. Can we identify a suite of personal characteristics and aptitudes - for shorthand purposes, the traits that are frequently associated with the concept of emotional intelligence - and acknowledge, encourage and record them?

Could the list of personal achievements Catriona typed up be added to the relevant outcomes so that academic (outcomes and experiences) and personal (e.g. I eat oily fish once a week) achievements appear on the same piece of paper (or feature on a double-sided sheet)? This could perhaps highlight smaller personal achievements which could build up to achieving an outcome, or show smaller steps towards progress. This might help to split the 134 statements, all of which are relevant to contributing to the 4 capacities (Claire A).
